Accurately measure and mark the hole locations, ensuring alignment between the holes on the bottom of post and those on top bracket.

Then, pre-drill holes on you deck that correspond with your post. Once done, insert and tighten each leg screw to ensure the post is perfectly level.

Finally, fit the footplate to the base of the post and fasten the top bracket plate onto the post for finishing the attachment of the first post.

Note: If your railing project includes corners, start with a corner post to establish the framework.

Step 3. Attach the Next Post

Before installing the next post, place the handrail on top to get an accurate measurement of where the next post will go.

Next, insert the connector into the end of the handrail. Measure and mark the holes for the next post. And finally, fix the third post to complete a section of the system.

Use handrail to measure the position of next post

Note: Typically, the construction of all railings is divided into several sections. Each section often includes three posts, one handrail, and other accessories.

Step 4. Install the Handrail

Drill holes through the handrail and also through the handrail connector. Then, tighten the screws to connect the handrail to the posts.

Step 5. Fit the Centre Post

Measure the total distance between the two installed posts. Next, build a new post precisely in the center of these two posts.

Step 6. Terminal & Cable Installation

With all the railings are in place, it’s time to install the cables that run between them.

Firstly, cut the cable just a little longer than it needs to be to fit the whole runway. Fit the steel cable into the tensioner and secure it.

Attach the cable to the post, but do not tighten it yet.

Once the tensioner is secured, fit the washers one at a time onto the cable and pass the cable through all the posts.

After that, loosen the tensioner completely and install the fixed end.

At the end, tighten the tensioner and lay all the cables along the front run.

Once this is done, the entire cable railing project is complete.
